Authorised Economic Operator (AEO)

Eurolab has been working hard to develop its operations, increase the efficiency and make our company one of the most transparent for Albania and the region.

This is way Albanian Customs have rewarded Eruolab with the “status of trust” amongst 8 other companies: Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) from December 2021. This obviously is well deserved privilege for Eurolab. The AEO status is based on the international standards; it is recognised within CEFTA countries as well.

What does this entail for Eurolab practically?

- Simplified custom clearance procedures for Albania and CEFTA countries;
- Possibility to use warehousing spaces in and out of the Customs area;
- Reduction of the guaranties needed, simplifying of the transit process; etc.

Eurolab has fulfilled and was checked against lots of criteria: no breaching the Customs and Fiscal regulatory, have a fully functional commercial management and professional staff, positive transport records at Customs, solid commercial chain, access control, logistics and training of the staff, payment ability, health and safety standards and so on.
